In Italy the government of prime minister Matteo Renzi is going to make a reform of the law on workers’ rights. This reform will have dramatic consequences for workers.
The pillar of the project of the government is indeed to cancel the clause of the Workers’ Statute, which imposes the reintegration in the work place for a worker, in case he or she has been victim of an unfair firing.
In Italy this law has constituted the effective protection of workers’ rights and of Trade union rights for more than 40 years. This clause of reintegration imposed to respect the Law n°300 of 1970, the Italian workers’ Statute.
It is a pillar law, which allowed workers to enjoy rights given by the republican Constitution and imposed that democracy and constitutional rights were make effective and respected also in the enterprise, at the work place.
We, the CGIL, won’t accept this conservative counter reform, We will fight for maintaining the fundamental rights. The entire rights framework would be compromised, if it will be possible to fire without restrictions denying to the workers the right to be reemployed in case of unfair firing.
An effective tool of defence would lack than, nobody could feel protected, firstly those woman and man, who organise the workers representation and the Trade union action.
Otherwise CGIL will fight also in an offensive perspective to defend workers’ rights. We will make a big demonstration also for putting at the centre of the agenda of the Government Work, which now the first priority of the country, of Italian citizens, of youth in particular. It has to be a Work which allow workers to get their dignity and equal rights for all. For that goal the Italian economic policy has to change, public and private investments have to realised, the 46 precarious forms of job contracts have to be abolished and the Statute of Workers has to be extend to all the workers, providing universal rights.
For those reasons We are going to mobilize in a big demonstration in Rome the next 25th of October. The demonstration will represent the first step of next mobilizations in defence of rights of workers.


For that reason I’m asking Your support. The International solidarity is for Us fundamental, it helps and gives strength. For workers and Trade unionists to get a message of support to their fight means to allow them to feel that We are not alone and that in other places of the world others share our ideas and our fight.

die Regierung von Matteo Renzi treibt in Italien derzeit eine Reform des Arbeitsrechts voran, die dramatische Konsequenzen für die Rechte der Arbeitnehmerinnen und Arbeitnehmer haben würde.
Im Mittelpunkt dieses Regierungsprojektes steht die Abschaffung einer Klausel im "Statuto dei Lavoratori", einem Gesetz zum Schutz der Rechte der Beschäftigten [ho aggiunto io: "una legge per la protezione dei lavoratori"]. Die Klausel sieht vor, dass Arbeitnehmerinnen und Arbeitnehmer wieder auf ihren Arbeitsplatz zurückkehren dürfen, wenn sie ungerechtfertigterweise gekündigt wurden.
Diese Regelung gewährleistete in Italien die Verteidigung der Rechte der Arbeitnehmer für mehr als 40 Jahre. Sie hat es ermöglicht, dass Arbeitgeber das Gesetz 300 des Jahres 1970 - unser "Statuto dei Lavoratori" - akzeptieren mussten. Es ist ein grundlegendes Gesetz, das es den Arbeitnehmern ermöglicht hat, ihre Rechte überhaupt in Anspruch zu nehmen, die in der republikanischen Verfassung festgeschrieben sind; ein Gesetz, das dafür gesorgt hat, dass Demokratie und verfassungsmäßige Rechte auch am Arbeitsplatz akzeptiert werden.
Die CGIL wird diese konservative Reform, diesen Rüchschritt nicht akzeptieren. Wir werden um die Erhaltung der grundlegendsten Rechte kämpfen. Das gesamte System der Arbeitsrechte wird beschädigt, wenn man Menschen ohne gerechten Grund feuern kann und ihnen anschließend die Rückkehr an den eigenen Arbeitsplatz verweigern darf. Es wird kein effektives Verteidigungsinstrument mehr geben, niemand wird sich geschützt fühlen können - vor allem nicht die Männer und Frauen, die eine Vertretung der Beschäftigten organisieren und die sich im Betrieb gewerkschaftlich organisieren.
Aus diesem Grund werden wir am 25. Oktober eine große landesweite Demonstration in Rom durchführen. Das wird die erste landesweite Etappe einer Kampagne sein, die wir für die Verteidigung der Rechte der Arbeitnehmerinnen und Arbeitnehmer fortführen werden.
Wir bitten Euch hierfür um Eure Unterstützung. Die internationale Solidarität ist für uns grundlegend und äußerst wichtig; sie hilft uns und gibt uns Kraft. Ein Signal der Unterstützung zu erhalten, ermöglicht es uns Arbeitnehmerinnen und Arbeitnehmern, uns Gewerkschafterinnen und Gewerkschaftern zu sehen, dass wir in unserem Kampf nicht alleine sind; dass andere an anderen Orten auf dieser Welt so denken wie wir.

En Italie le gouvernement du premier ministre Matteo Renzi est en train de réaliser une reforme de la lois du travail qui comporte de conséquences dramatiques pour les travailleurs.
Pilier du projet du gouvernement est l’élimination de la clause du Statu des Travailleurs qui prévoit la réintégration dans son poste de travail d’une femme ou d’un homme, s’il ont été licencié injustement.
En Italie cette normative a été la concrète défense des droits des travailleurs et des droits syndicaux pendant plus de 40 ans, il s’agit de la règle qui a permis de faire respecter la lois 300 du 1970, notre Statut des Travailleurs.
Il s’agit de la lois pilier qui a permis au travailleurs de faire valoir les droits donnés par la Constitution républicaine et que a imposé d’introduire la démocratie et les droits affirmés dans la Constitution aussi dans les entreprises, au poste de travail.
Nous, la CGIL, n’entendons pas accepter cette contre-réforme conservative, on va se battre pour maintenir les droits fondamentaux. Tout le système des droits au travail va être compromis, s’il y aura la possibilité de licencier en absence d’un juste cause et si on pourra nier la réintégration au travail, si le licenciement résulte illégal. Sans cette norme il manquera un outil effective de défense, aucun travailleur pourra se sentir protégé, surtout les femme set les hommes qui organisent la représentations des travailleurs et l’action syndicale.
La lutte de la CGIL ne sera pas seulement pour défendre les droits des travailleurs. Nous organisons une grande manifestation aussi pour prétendre que au centre de l’agenda du Gouvernement le Travail trouve une attention primaire car celle là est aujourd’hui la priorité du pays, des citoyens italiens et des jeunes en particulier. Un Travail digne avec les mêmes droits pour tous. Pour ça il faut changer la politique économique, réaliser des investissement publiques et privés, effacer la précarité avec ses 46 formes de contrats non standards qui aujourd’hui existent, étendre l’applications du Statut des Travailleurs à toutes et tous en créant Protection universelle pour toutes et tous.
Pour cette raison nous organiserons une grande mobilisation nationale à Rome le prochain 25 octobre, cela sera la première étapes d’une mobilisation que nous sommes prêts à continuer pour la défense des droits des travailleuses et des travailleurs.
Nous demandons votre support. La solidarité internationale est pour nous fondamentale et de grande importance, elle nous aide et nous donne de la force.
Pour les travailleurs et les syndicalistes recevoir un soutien à notre lutte sera la preuve de n’être pas seuls et que des autres dans autres places du monde partagent nos idées et la volonté de défendre les droits.
